To Effectively Lead and Manage you must master these skills. As a Manager of a business and people, I view my position as a privilege to guide by influence and to control movement and behavior. What an opportunity! Yes the days get busy and at times very long, but in the end I could think of nothing I would rather do professionally.
Ask any Manager and they will tell you, "of course there are always challenges and frustrations, and at times I wonder what to do next, and where to start." We all want to do our best, but the reality is many Managers only operate off past experiences and routines. Rare is the manager that actually stops to consider how to "guide by influence" or how "to control movement or behavior".
